The favorite aperitif product is contaminated! Don’t eat it!

It is good to know that it is possible for several products to be recalled in a single day. As soon as they are suspected of being contaminated and therefore unfit for consumption, the government website Rappel Conso immediately places them at the center of a product recall.

Recently,  several brands of appetizer products were the subject of a product recall . In this article you will find out which brands are affected and what precautions you need to take if you have these products at home.

What products are affected by the recall?

Do you have friends at home every weekend and do you often prepare  a tasty aperitif  ? It’s a good idea to welcome them in style, but  avoid using the cod accras  which were the subject of a product recall a few days ago.

These aperitifs, marketed throughout France, were  present in many shops  including Intermarché and Carrefour. However, this does not apply to all aperitif products present in these supermarkets. The products subject to the recall are  Accras cod trays under the CARREFOUR Le Marché, CITE MARINE and CAP OCEAN brands .

What is the root cause of the product recall?

If these products are unsuitable for consumption, it is because they may contain residues of glass, metal, plastic, paper or fabric.

This foreign debris is a real health hazard. If ingested, they block blood circulation and can even cause suffocation.

Furthermore, if you ingest these metal elements, you can suffer internal damage. They can even damage internal organs. The worst thing is that it is difficult to treat these lesions. If you are a victim of this type of infection, you may even have an operation to remove these foreign bodies from your body.

Whether it is cod accras from CARREFOUR Le Marché, CITE MARINE or CAP OCEAN, the dangers are the same.

What to do if you have these products in the refrigerator?

At this point you need to check if you have these products at home . If so, you should not consume them. However, don’t throw them in the bin just yet.

The best thing to do is return them to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
