Danubiana brioche with apples and jam: here is the ideal recipe for family breakfast

30 g of soft butter
100 g of apricot jam
1 apple
16 cl of milk
6 g of fresh brewer’s yeast
60 g of sugar
1 egg
300 g of flour

In a large bowl mix the flour with the sugar and crumbled yeast.

Add the egg and slowly pour in the milk.

Work for about 10 minutes to have a homogeneous dough.

Then add the butter, one piece at a time.

Complete with salt.

Form the dough into a ball.

Cover and let rise for an hour.

Take the dough and fold it once, then return it to the bowl.

Cover and let rise until doubled, about 3 hours.

Then divide the dough into 8 pieces of 60 g.

Wash the apple, peel it and cut it into cubes.

Mash the dough in the palm of your hand.

Fill them with jam and apples, then close them into balls.

Gradually arrange them in a mold.

Cover and let rise for another twenty minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and cook the Danube brioche with apples and jam for a quarter of an hour.

Sprinkle with icing sugar and enjoy your meal.
