Olive oil: make a mixture with baking soda and water and enjoy the result!
How can we use olive oil to help the plants we care for?
Olive oil can be used to help our plants in three different ways. Read on to find out:
- ANTIPARASITIC
The first thing we must do to prevent the appearance of parasites and insects on plants is to get a spray bottle . In the bottle you will need to add 70 milliliters of olive oil , a glass of water and 5 grams of baking soda . This mixture, if sprayed on the leaves, will provide the plant with a protective layer that will scare away any “unpleasant guests.”
- ANTI-MOSQUITOES
The oil can be essential in repelling mosquitoes from plants. Obviously during the summer period mosquitoes are attracted to water. Therefore, it is no coincidence that they hum in the stagnant water found in the saucers of the plants. To eliminate this problem we must pour a little oil inside the saucers . By doing this, the problem will be resolved in an instant.
- REVIGORATING
However, if we want to revitalize the plants, it will be enough to pour 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil into the soil . The ideal would be to carry out this simple action at least once a month . In addition to this, we can obtain shiny leaves simply by wetting a cloth with a little oil and passing it over it.
In short, all that remains is to save these tips and put them to good use.
The improvements you will notice will be clear. It will be enough to have a little consistency but without any effort.
W the green thumb!
