Water with cement: what can you achieve?

If we talk about DIY,  there are many people who, today, are getting closer to this world to create something brilliant and personalized. Putting your creativity and dexterity into practice is important, in fact this new cement trick is loved by everyone.

The main ingredients  for this operation are cement and water. Then you will have to consider a stencil, like a wicker basket, for example.

After all the supplies have been arranged, now it’s time to prepare the substance made of cement and water. Obviously, it is important to identify the container to choose for the mixture, which  must be soft  or in any case flexible to obtain a good final result.

When choosing a basket, you can have a similar, but completely rigid container. How to proceed?

DIY objects with concrete

Take a  silicone or plastic container  and pour the cement and then the water into it. Mix the two ingredients as if to obtain a homogeneous paste. Then, take the basket or mold to be used and cover it with transparent film (especially if it has holes or holes).

Pour the cement with  water into the  chosen mold and wait for it to harden. It can then be extracted and will look similar to the stencil (therefore, a container, a vase or any other desired object).

Take the remaining cement from the  silicone bowl and add water. Using a brush, take the mixture little by little and apply it to the concrete formwork made to cover possible holes or imperfections. Now you can act in two different ways, leaving it completely white or coloring it with your preferred shade.

Water with cement is therefore a  perfect marriage  , not only for walls but also for making DIY objects to be used in everyday life. Remember to always let the mold harden and not force it when you need to remove it. Despite being hard, concrete is also very delicate and it is best not to ruin your work.

Thanks to these two ingredients you can  create something unique  , to try and repeat whenever you want. Of course, keep the dough out of the reach of children.
