Homemade anti-dust spray: prepare in 2 minutes and super economical!

Have you ever thought about making a  homemade anti-dust spray  ?

We know that dust has always been the number one enemy of cleanliness. Specific products are used for this, but at what price? In addition to the financial expense, sometimes excessive compared to the benefits and promises, the risk is usually that of finding very annoying stains on the furniture.

Therefore, it is better to resort to effective natural remedies.  Let’s find out which ones. Curious? Let’s start!

Homemade dust spray: where to start?

First, get a   clean, empty  container fitted with a spray nozzle.

To make a natural dustpan on  wooden surfaces,  get olive oil, vinegar, and a lemon. Transfer to bottle:

  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil,
  • the juice of 1 lemon,
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar.

Shake well for a few minutes to create an emulsion that will be sprayed directly onto a microfiber cloth. Then pass it over the surfaces to be cleaned, removing the excess with another cloth.

However, if you want to create a dust-trapping spray for  glass, marble  , or  ceramic surfaces,  you will need to use liquid soap and water.

Pour 200 ml of water into a spray container, add 1 tablespoon of soap and a few drops of essential oil.

Opt for  lavender, patchouli or sandalwood.  Shake it for a few minutes and then spray it on a cloth to remove dust. You will achieve it in an instant and you will also leave a fresh and clean aroma!

You can also create a powder solution with water, lemon and sweet orange essential oil, and liquid soap.

Put 500 ml of water in a spray bottle, add a tablespoon of liquid soap, 3 drops of lemon essential oil and 3 drops of sweet orange essential oil.

You will get a citrus-scented cleaner, really pleasant to use.

Alternatively, get:

  • 500 ml of water,
  • 5 drops of Tea Tree Oil essential oil,
  • 1 tablespoon of organic dish soap  .

A very useful spray since, in addition to eliminating dust, it has antifungal and bactericidal action. Also use it to clean mirrors and glass, not just furniture. In fact, tea tree oil has clear antifungal properties.
