If you do this, both your dogs and those of your neighbors will stop urinating in your house

If you do this, both your dogs and those of your neighbors will stop urinating in your house.

Does your puppy or other outdoor dog relieve itself near your house? Below we present natural remedies to put an end to this action.

Animals usually mark their territory with their  urine  , in order to “communicate” with other dogs. Other times, however, this movement can also be simple spite, in case you leave the animal alone too often or do not give it adequate attention.

Especially when it is a puppy, however, it is  essential to accustom the dog to the proper rules that it must respect at home  . This way you will avoid having to “fight” this very common problem throughout your life. Therefore, it will be appropriate to teach the animal that its needs should only be met during scheduled walks outside the home.

It may happen, however, that sometimes animals feel the need to “communicate” in this way. Other times, then, it may happen that other dogs, outside your home, arrive at your door, leaving their “gift”.

If you want to prevent these movements from being repeated frequently, you should know that there are  natural solutions that you can prepare in a simple  , practical and quick way right at home. They will then be sprayed on the area where the dog urinated. Are you ready to discover it all? These are the  ingredients  you will need to use to completely solve this problem.

Does your dog urinate at home? Here’s how to make it stop for good.

If your pet shows no signs of “calming down” from this point of view, it will be advisable to proceed with specifically created natural solutions. The first thing we point out is that  bleach or ammonia should never be used  . This action, in fact, does not deter animals from performing this action that they would like to avoid.

Instead, it will be advisable to use some  natural repellents  , which do not pollute the environment and can “change the minds” of your dog and the other animals present in the vicinity of your house.

The natural repellent that you will need to make will be lemon- based   . In fact, this citrus makes our four-legged friends uncomfortable. In fact, the dog’s sense of smell perceives unpleasant odors much more intensely than the human sense of smell. And dogs, as we have already mentioned, are not attracted to lemon.

The strong aroma of this citrus is perceived with an intensity 40 times greater than what we perceive. What will you have to do then? Once your puppy has urinated in a certain area, don’t scold him. Simply  clean the area well and spray the mixture that we are going to describe in that area  . Here you have all the details about it.

Natural repellents that discourage dogs

The repellent solution, which will discourage your dog and your neighbors from repeating the unpleasant movement, should contain approximately  100 milliliters of lemon juice  , dissolved in  50 milliliters of water  . A good spoonful of baking soda should also be added to these liquids   .

Once you have placed all the ingredients in a glass or small container, it will be advisable to mix everything properly. At this point, go to the area where your puppy has done his primary needs and pour – with a spoon – a little of the specially prepared mixture based on lemon juice.

You will see that over time, your dog’s urine inside the house or outside your door will progressively decrease until it disappears completely. It will be advisable not to give up and  repeat this gesture for a few days  . In the end you will have achieved the desired result.

In this article, however, we also want to offer you another natural repellent method, using another specific ingredient. We are referring to the use of  white vinegar  .

In a sprayer it will be necessary to pour about  100 milliliters of hot water  , also adding the  same amount of white vinegar  . Shake the two elements well and repeat the same operation that we explained previously. Then spray this mixture on the area where your puppy peed.

Repeat the operation, if necessary, for other times. After a while, you will see that your dog will no longer do anything like that. Alternatively, you could spray  pure alcohol  , the kind -so to speak- that is used to disinfect wounds.

It is very important to accustom your puppy to correct behaviors from an early age. If, on the other hand, the animal continues to urinate where it shouldn’t,  these natural solutions that we have just described come to your aid  .
