I found out where cockroaches lurk and eliminated them with this foolproof method!

As soon as we notice  cockroaches in the house , it is urgent to understand  where they lurk in order to expel them  and get rid of their intrusive and unwanted presence.

There are those who suffer from entomophobia, that is, at the mere sight of insects an almost paralyzing terror takes over them, and in this case the situation could even be disabling; But even if we do not suffer so deeply at the sight of these parasites, we are certainly not willing to welcome them and keep them within our own four walls. The point is that many times it does not depend on poor hygiene, we cannot blame ourselves excessively.

Of course, it remains a categorical imperative to clean every corner of the house with great care, especially the kitchen and bathroom , paying special attention to drains and pipes, but it is not enough. Often, humidity in some rooms could be a gateway for these little creatures. Then we carefully check the less healthy areas and try to dry carefully, then try to seal with putty or silicone.

Once this is done,  we can permanently scare away the cockroaches with natural remedies.  We avoid the use of chemical insecticides that can harm our health and that of the environment by transporting toxic substances into the environment.

Let’s see together how to proceed for economical, but effective and ecological pest control.

Expelling cockroaches and getting rid of them is simple, if we know where they lurk

In addition to humidity, there are other clues that can help us identify where cockroaches are hiding:  since they spread their droppings around the house, the presence of small irregular black pieces is an indication of their refuge. If we notice them, the cockroaches are nearby.  In the same way,  they leave traces of their eggs everywhere  when they hatch: they are white dots, usually concentrated in the corners.

Once we have a better understanding of what locations they primarily live in,  we can spread a mixture of baking soda and sugar, mixed in equal parts in a small bowl.  Add a little water, then tear up a few pieces of paper and put this deadly mixture for cockroaches on each one. We are not going to dirty the ground with our natural traps. Cockroaches will be attracted to sugar, but they will also ingest baking soda which will suffocate them.

Another very effective method is to shred dry bay leaves  and distribute them where we notice their weeds. The acrid and aromatic smell of this medicinal plant is disturbing to them, so they will spontaneously move away and with them, we will also eliminate flies, mosquitoes and ants.

Brilliant, right?

If we are fans of the old  insecticide spray , we can make a totally natural one  based on a clove of garlic, half an onion, a pinch of pepper and a tablespoon of Marseille soap . Chop the vegetables finely and place them in the bottom of a container fitted with a spray nozzle. Add pepper, soap and half a liter of water. Screw on the cap, shake vigorously, and spray on affected areas. Too complicated?

Then we can simply use water and white wine vinegar in equal amounts.

In short, we have many options for gradual and affordable pest control!
