Unit Price Analysis of Filling, Refining and Compaction
In winter it is cold, and that is beyond a doubt, but there is a method to have warm and comfortable floors. In newly designed houses, the heating is no longer diffused with classic wall heaters, but passes under the floor. In this way, the heat rises to the top and makes the indoor climate much more comfortable.
But most of the apartments are still outdated! Between accessories, cavities, poorly distributed radiators, we often fail to achieve the desired heat inside the home.
Then we can try placing a panel of aluminum foil behind the radiators to increase their effectiveness, draft-proof snakes under the windows to prevent outside air from entering the rooms, rugs almost everywhere to diffuse heat , but if we also want to have warm floors, we have an infallible method available that will make life at home much more pleasant!
Below we explain how to do it!
This is the correct way to have warm floors
If we have already adopted all the solutions to contain heat loss inside the home, but the floors are our nuisance because they remain cold and make the indoor environment uncomfortable, we can try this trivial yet brilliant trick.
Wash them first with hot water (at least 40°), but add a pinch of lemon and a teaspoon of baking soda to the bucket. We wait for the chemical reaction to begin and then for the effervescence to fade, then we soak the cloth, wring it out (remember to use latex gloves!) and wipe it on the surface of the house.
Now empty the basin and fill it a second time with hot water (this time we can even reach 60°), a handful of Marseille soap flakes, our trusty baking soda and a few drops of lavender essence (if you want). Mix everything in the sink and with a clean cloth, do a second round of cleaning the floors. Whatever the surface, it will retain the heat of the water and release it slowly, making our rooms warmer and more welcoming.
Try it and see if you want! Always works!
