Have you been cooking for hours and now the kitchen is drenched in odors? To scent the room and eliminate any odors, all you need is a saucepan.

It’s an ancient method, a brilliant remedy passed down from generation to generation, a grandma’s trick, in short! In that saucepan, you can introduce some foods, each one infallible and with a specific property.

Let’s start with a gem to simply eliminate the smell of fried food, cabbage and such.

Once the stoves are off, clean the stove carefully, then place a glass full of vinegar and baking soda exactly under the hood. Turn it on and take care of the rest. In no time, any unwanted odor will vanish without a trace into the air!

But there is more!

Are you curious to know all the details? Begin!

To quickly absorb food odors while preparing it, pour the wine or apple cider vinegar into a saucepan and bring it to a boil.

The resulting steam will be able to absorb the stench and dissolve it instantly!

If you also want to perfume your kitchen, use bay leaf. Prepare an infusion with 4 leaves of this aromatic plant in a pot with water. Place on stove and bring to a boil. Turn off the gas and let the essential oils of the bay leaf spread through the air and make it cool and cozy.

For an even sweeter and more intriguing fragrance, try orange and cinnamon. Squeeze the first and pour the juice into a saucepan, then add a pinch of cinnamon, don’t overdo it so as not to cover up the citrus touch. Then proceed as already specified. Pour into a saucepan and bring to a boil… Now enjoy the result!

Lemon is also very useful for our purpose. Just squeeze it to get 1/<> glass of juice, add water and <> teaspoon of baking soda, then make the usual infusion to boil on the stove.

If you want to do it even faster, pour the juice into a glass and place it under the hood at maximum power for a quarter of an hour.

You will feel like you are living on the Amalfi Coast!
