If you have a rose on your balcony or have received one as a gift and want to propagate it, you know that this is only possible with its stem. Roses are among the most beautiful flowers in the world and can decorate any area of the house, regardless of their color.
Although roses are considered difficult to care for, they can propagate from one stem and reproduce endlessly. This is a simple job and no horticultural experience is required.
Below we show you how to get a beautiful collection of roses from stems.
First step :
The first thing to do is identify the ideal place for the roses. Dig a hole about 15 centimeters deep and fill it with sand. Follow these tips to choose the right place:
Don’t place roses too close to each other. Don’t place roses too close to a wall or under a tree. Make sure the roses get air and sun, preferably in the morning.
Second phase :
Get rose stems or cuttings that will be used for the propagation and creation of our garden. It is important that the stems are about 20-25 centimeters long.
Third phase:
This phase is as simple as it is important. The stems must be cleaned by removing leaves and impurities to promote regeneration.
Fourth phase:
Place the rose stems in the sand, leaving a little space between each one. Press the stems well into the sand so that they are well secured.
Fifth phase:
Cuttings of the ground cover rose ‘The Fairy’ cut and placed in the mini-greenhouse, previously placed in growing medium (Neudofix root activator) with cuts at the base of the shoots.
Cover the rose stems with the fertilized soil and press well with your feet to compact them well.
The work is done: all that remains is to wait for nature to take its course.
