HOW TO MAKE THE MOLD THAT ACCUMULATES ON THE SHOWER SILICONE DISAPPEAR FOREVER

It is nothing new that  in the bathroom  you can always find some nasty surprises in terms of dirt and stains.

This is the case of the  black that strikes the shower , and in particular the rails and the silicone, which seem very worn and dated.

But there is a solution to remove these stains from top to bottom and now we will see together everything that needs to be done to  whiten the silicone in the shower !

Citric acid

A strong point of natural remedies is, without a shadow of a doubt,  citric acid !

Extracted from citrus fruits, this product is eco-friendly and never fails to give its fantastic results, both for limescale and mold.

Dissolve  150 grams of citric acid in 1 liter of water  and then put everything in a vaporizer to use it more practically.

Spray a  generous amount of the mixture obtained on the  shower silicone and leave it for at least 10 minutes, then rub gently with a toothbrush and you will see that it will come off in the blink of an eye!

Remember not to use citric acid on marble, wood or natural stone.

Bicarbonate paste

In addition to citric acid,  sodium bicarbonate also has its anti-mold property  which is always useful in an environment such as the bathroom.

To make this mixture you just need to mix the amount of  bicarbonate you need with a little water , added slowly, until you obtain the consistency of a gel.

Spread everything  on a toothbrush  and rub on the mold, leave to act until it dries and then rinse with a special sponge.

It will be an economical and effective trick that you won’t be able to do without, let’s find out how to use it best!

Prepare a solution with  3 parts vinegar and 1 part water , then transfer everything into a spray bottle and spray liberally on the mold.

It is important that it always acts  for at least 15 minutes , then you will have to scrub with a toothbrush or a slightly abrasive sponge to permanently remove the dirt.

Like citric acid, vinegar should not be put on delicate surfaces such as marble.

Lemon

The same effectiveness of vinegar and the previous remedies can also be found in an ingredient like  lemon .

Simple, super natural and always at hand, it will be ideal for eliminating mold from the silicone in the shower in a short time, while  also leaving a good scent !

To make everything quicker, you can also rub half of a lemon directly on the silicone, wait for it to act  for about 20 minutes  and then always use a toothbrush to remove the mold permanently.

Lemon cannot be used in the case of a marble or natural stone shower.

Marseille soap

Another trick that, in addition to cleaning, also leaves a wonderful smell is  Marseille soap !

It is called the “natural degreaser” precisely because  it manages to deeply remove difficult stains  such as mold.

You will have to dissolve  2 tablespoons of Marseille soap , add  1 teaspoon of bicarbonate  and use the mixture obtained on the silicone to quickly eliminate the mold.

Rinse well and that’s it!

Hydrogen peroxide

Last trick, but one to always keep in mind to remove stubborn dirt inside the bathroom, is  hydrogen peroxide !

Perhaps not everyone knows that it is a very powerful remedy against mold, so why not use it to our advantage?

Spread the hydrogen peroxide on the silicone, with a generous amount on the areas with the most mould, then  rub with a toothbrush  and leave to act  for 20 minutes .

Rinse thoroughly and mold will be just a distant memory!

Do not use on marble or natural stone.

Warnings

To ensure that the remedies do not stain or damage the shower, test in an inconspicuous corner first.
