Puff pastry with mozzarella and tomato sauce: a succulent and inviting appetizer

1 egg
1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
Grated Parmesan
50 g of mozzarella
160 g of peeled tomatoes
Oregano
Olive oil
Salt

How to make puff pastry with mozzarella and tomato?
Turn the oven on at 200 degrees.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Drain the tomatoes, chop them and place them in a bowl.

Season with oil, salt and oregano, mix.

Cut the mozzarella into cubes.

Unroll the puff pastry and flatten it with a rolling pin.

Cut it into 16 8mm discs.

Garnish half with cherry tomatoes.

Add mozzarella and parmesan.

Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.

Cover them with the other discs and seal the edges with your fingertips.

Brush with egg.

Arrange everything on the baking tray and cook for about twenty minutes.

Serve the puff pastry with mozzarella and tomato sauce.
