- Plant Age : Not all plants flower, but only the most mature Aloe plants (over 4 years old).
- Season: as with all plants, even for aloe it is important to respect its seasonality. In fact, aloe does not produce flowers all year round, but only in a certain period of time between winter and late spring.
- Unfavorable conditions: in order for the aloe to be in optimal conditions for flowering, it must be placed in an environment favorable to it. Too much shade and humidity do not help, plus even growing in a pot that is too small can hinder flowering.
- Location: The Aloe plant, to flower, needs a lot of sunlight. In fact, it should be placed outside during the hottest months: it can withstand temperatures even up to more than 20 degrees.
- Fertilizer: Fertilizing the soil that houses your aloe can help it get all the nutrients it needs. Therefore, give a natural fertilizer regularly, especially in early spring and summer.
- Decanting: Even completely changing the pot and soil can help the plant grow better. In the case of aloe, the best time to do it is spring, possibly with a clay pot and a suitable size.
- Cut the flower: it is not strictly necessary, however flowering is a process that can weaken or strain the plant. In these cases, it is then preferable to cut it by making a clean cut at the base.
