Eggs offer many benefits to our body. In fact, it is a very  nutritious and highly  appreciated food. The egg is characterized by three fundamental elements: the outer part of the  shell , the transparent part of the  egg white  and the yellow heart of the  yolk . Typically, the egg white part contains numerous  proteins and B vitamins , and is also rich in  mineral salts  such as sodium and potassium. The yolk, on the other hand, contains fats and mineral salts, such as  iron, phosphorus, and more.

Eggs, as we have already mentioned, are very nutritious and represent  a complete food . They are easily digestible and contain antioxidants, therefore, they slow down macular degeneration. Eggs also promote the functioning of the nervous system and the brain , so they are suitable for everyone. Of course, there are people like vegans who choose not to eat grapes, or other allergic people who cannot eat them. In general, eggs can be prepared in many different ways, for example, they are good scrambled, hard-boiled, soft-boiled, fried, etc.

We recommend that you always buy  organic eggs from free-range hens  that guarantee superior quality and maximum safety. You can keep eggs in the refrigerator and consume them to make delicious dishes. Obviously, try to eat them in moderation, limiting them to  two or three times a week.

When you see  green hard-boiled egg yolk  it is due to a chemical reaction. This phenomenon occurs due to a  reaction between the iron in the yolk and the hydrogen sulfide contained in the egg white . Typically, this reaction occurs during  high-temperature cooking . Obviously, if the yolk turns green it is still edible and does not harm your health. In any case, you can prevent it from acquiring this color by trying to cook the eggs at moderate temperatures and over low heat. We recommend that you cook hard-boiled eggs for  8-9 minutes  and put them in cold water immediately after.
