Oil stains on clothes: this clever and inexpensive trick will make them disappear!

Do you have an item of clothing that has been stained with oil? Don’t throw it away because we have the solution for you! Oil stains , as we know, are the most stubborn and difficult to remove, but this does not mean that they are impossible to treat. In this article we have decided to give you advice that will be especially useful to you: a system that takes advantage of the use of  natural products  that we all have at home. But let’s take a closer look.

Oil stains on clothes: how to remove them

There is a little premise to do. When we talk  about oil stains on clothes,  time  is crucial. Acting quickly could mean having to give up seeing your almost irreparably damaged garment, or in any case more invasive treatments will be necessary. That said, let’s see how to act. First of all, you must rub immediately with  paper towels : this way we will prevent the stain from expanding and penetrating the fibers. We act with light pressure and do not rub. If we are too rough, we will only cause the stain to expand and then everything will be counterproductive.

At this point it will be necessary to act with very effective kitchen ingredients. We are talking about  vinegar and baking soda:  these will have to be mixed together so that you can take advantage of the characteristics of both. Vinegar is capable of cleaning and degreasing, while baking soda is capable of absorbing and removing difficult stains thanks to its abrasive properties. Pretreatment of the garment will be quite simple: make a mixture with at least two or three tablespoons of baking soda, but it depends on the size of the stain, and let it dissolve in vinegar. We apply everything to the stain and wait at least half an hour for it to act.Now all we have to do is proceed with a wash through the  washing machine . Obviously, pay attention to the label, to avoid making mistakes: respect the temperature and revolutions that can avoid ruining our garment. We use a vegetable detergent if possible, to treat stained garments at low temperatures. If we exceed a certain threshold of degrees Celsius, we may even achieve the opposite effect and fix the stain instead of removing it. After the first wash we will have to see if the result obtained is what we expected, otherwise we will only have to repeat the operation until the stain disappears.

We are sure that these methods will help you decisively: let us know if your stain has disappeared!
