Here’s how to make your own paving stones to make a garden path or Japanese concrete steps.
You will need:
– Fine concrete
– Cardboard tube
– Rubber doormat with an imitation wrought iron pattern
– a wooden board or cardboard
– A saw
– A ruler
– Oil
– A paintbrush
Realization :
With the saw, cut the cardboard tube into rings 5 cm high. Cut the doormat so that it fits inside the cardboard ring.
Oil the wooden board or cardboard as well as the inside of the rings. Place the rings on the board (or cardboard).
Mix the concrete with water to make a thick paste. Fill the cardboard molds, shake to release the concrete and remove the excess.
Oil the piece of rubber doormat, place it on the concrete-filled mold and press.
Leave to dry for 48 hours. Carefully remove the piece of rubber doormat.
Carefully remove the cardboard rings. These rings can be used to make other garden slabs.
And now your garden is ready to be decorated!
