Have you noticed that the roots of your orchid are overflowing the pot and are even outside the pot. Is this a good sign or a bad sign ? What to do in this case: cut or leave as is?
Why do the roots overflow?
If your orchids leave their roots outside the pot, it is a sign that they are in excellent shape . However, be sure to check the condition of the roots . If they are green and plump , everything is fine. If, however, they dry out or rot , the plant is not in good health.
If you have a beautiful phalaenopsis at home , you can stimulate its growth by placing the plant on a tray filled with expanded clay balls or gravel with water. This way you maintain a more humid environment around the plant without watering it too much.
Before doing this, remove the opaque pot lid from your plant, so that the roots can enjoy the light just like the leaves.
