Fleas and ticks carry a lot of bacteria and many diseases. And they don’t spare your four-legged friends. And don’t forget that they are dangerously prolific insects. So an invasion is very difficult to eradicate.

Here you have useful information on how to prepare simple remedies to combat these bugs.

Eliminate fleas and ticks with these simple methods

As soon as you see a flea or tick in your home,  you should act immediately  to prevent them from spreading rapidly. You can act in  several ways without resorting to chemical pesticides . This could harm your pets and, above all, your children.

There is  a simple but effective strategy  against fleas. But you have to practice it for a long time to be sure you have eradicated them all.

To do this, you should  place white plates in places where you suspect their presence  since fleas are attracted to light colors. Fill the dishes halfway with water and then with a few drops of liquid detergent. Since fleas also like humidity, they will jump directly onto the plate. But with the detergent they get trapped and can’t get out.

Don’t forget  to change the water as often as necessary  and place several dishes around the house for several consecutive days until there are no more fleas.

What’s more, you can  make a DIY spray  that will be very useful in eliminating ticks. Take 250 ml of dishwashing detergent, 500 ml of apple cider vinegar, two tablespoons of cloves and a glass of water.

Bring the water to a boil over the heat. When it boils, add the cloves and cook for another ten minutes. Meanwhile, mix the vinegar and dish soap. Let the water cool and add the vinegar and dish soap. Mix everything and then  put the solution in a sprayer.  Spray areas where fleas and ticks are likely to hide several times.
