The broom trick is unique and allows you to dry the floor in just one minute: you will no longer have to open the windows.

When it’s winter, washing the  floor becomes a real stress . It never dries and the environment fills with humidity with a domino effect that everyone knows by now and the formation of mold. Thanks to cleaning experts, you can apply the broom trick, which is intuitive and very easy to wash floors even in winter when it’s cold. Obviously, nothing prevents you from using the  method even in summer.

Floors in winter: how to dry them?

When washing floors in winter, the first thing that comes to mind is opening  doors and windows . Even if it’s cold outside, this gesture allows you to release the humidity created inside the environment and breathe healthy air. Furthermore, despite the low temperatures, the floor dries quickly.

Not only that, it is better if the  radiators/radiators  are activated so that the heat can spread through the rooms and dry the surfaces as soon as possible. There’s no point in beating around the bush, washing the floor during the winter is a real stress.

There are also other  tips  from experts that can be put into practice:

  • First of all it is a good idea to take a  doormat  and place it near the entrance door. This is to limit dirt and ensure that shoes are cleaned before entering the house;
  • The same goes for placing  various rugs throughout the house , inside. If damp is unfortunately unavoidable, these will limit mold growth and keep your home much cleaner.

Floor broom trick: use it even in winter

Then there is the broom trick which is normally applied when the days are damp and cold. The first thing to do for ceramic  and hardwood  is to use a cleaner that works deeply and is easy to remove.

Deep cleaning during the winter is possible, but in any case choosing the right detergent is crucial. Experts recommend an organic detergent with lemon and denatured alcohol. Then there are solutions with white vinegar to replace bleach, or the classic sodium bicarbonate with essential oils.

The  method consists of two different steps :

  1. In the first step you clean the floor with the wrung out mop, trying to eliminate all traces of dirt and persistent stains;
  2. In the second step, take a broom – preferably a flat one – and dry the entire floor with the help of a clean cloth.

In  just a few minutes  you will be able to have a clean, fragrant and even dry surface so as not to have to open the windows during the harsh winter. This solution is suitable for any type of floor.
