Orchids, only if plants like this grow quickly and do not rot

Orchids, do you find it difficult to see them grow? Only if you plant them like this, they will never rot and will bloom all year round. Here’s the secret that no one has ever told you.

Do you also know  the method to make orchids grow quickly  and prevent them from rotting? Follow this procedure. You will thank us for the fabulous  tip  that will save your plants.

Orchid, the most delicate plant to care for

Deciding to bring a plant home is like adopting a puppy: you will always have to take care of it. These  green jewels represent the green heart  of not only the world but also the home.

It is nice to have  many small pieces of nature on the balcony, terrace or in the  boring and dead corners of our  house  . But caring for plants is not as simple as many believe, especially if you were not born with the gift of gardening.

Surely,  orchids are among the most difficult plants to manage  . Beautiful, with splendid colors and flowers,  they are among the most requested green jewels, bought and given as gifts  but, alas, they are also  among the plants that die most easily  or that do not look for flowers when they should.

If these last two conditions are met, it means that you are doing something wrong. Even your  orchids  , have you noticed  that they are rotting or struggling to bloom  ? Keep reading, we reveal  the trick  that will allow you to revive your wonderful plants in a nanosecond.

The technique to have orchids in bloom and healthy

Caring for  orchids  is not as simple as it seems. These plants   grow differently from others  , their  roots  , for example,  tend to rot quickly  if not properly cared for.

Just that, is that what is happening with your plants? Don’t worry, we have a system  for you that will give you  beautiful, healthy orchids all year round. First of all, you need to get  a 5 liter plastic bottle  from which you will remove the lid and in which you will make a  fairly large square opening  (consider that our plant will have to fit inside).

At the bottom of the bottle  you need to make drainage holes  with a small knife. Instead, you can pierce the bottle cap and insert a wire or hanger inside which you will eventually have to place your  orchid  wherever you prefer, even hanging from the balcony.

At this point, we take our orchid out of its pot and  begin to remove the old planting material and then cut off the damaged roots. Meanwhile, let’s prepare this  compound  that will serve as  a natural fertilizer  for our orchid.

In a container  add 500 ml of water to which we will add two cloves of garlic  previously crushed in a mortar. We mix everything. We filter the water  that has meanwhile absorbed the antiseptic properties of the garlic and with a cotton ball that we have soaked in this solution  we begin to clean the leaves of our orchid.

Why do we take this step? To ensure that our plant is  effectively protected from fungi  : the smell of garlic and its properties are capable of acting as a fungicide.

At this point,  we put the roots of our orchid in the water and garlic and let them soak for 15 minutes. In the meantime, get  pine bark  that you can buy at nurseries.

Let’s move on to the final step. Take your previously sectioned transparent plastic bottle again   and  insert a sponge made into pieces inside  , the classic green or white ones that you can also find in florists.

Then add the pine bark and finally your orchid  , the one you soaked in water and garlic. Cover the roots again with pine bark  . Then water the soil with the same water and garlic solution  that you had submerged your plant in.

This operation must be repeated once every two weeks  . You will see that by doing this,  your orchid will bloom and remain with  healthy and robust roots throughout the year.
