Since I have been using this secret ingredient for my hydrangeas, their bloom is lovely!

Hydrangeas  are a very widespread and beloved plant in our area. Its flowers, of bright or soft colors, shady or decisive,  are grouped in a kind of refined and elegant globe.

They are hardy and not too difficult to grow. In our part of the world they are a symbol of love, dedication and fidelity, but in China they are considered an emblem of loneliness and are a bad omen if offered as a gift to a new girlfriend. No matter what country you go to, no matter what custom you find, the fact is that they are decorative and delight with every bloom, whether in pots or planted in the ground in the garden.

However, if they have a hard time looking exuberant, don’t think it’s shyness! Maybe they need our outside help to flourish and illuminate our outdoor space.

Well  , there is an ingredient, always present in our kitchens, that can help you and will make a difference in 24 hours . You will see them explode in all their beauty!

It’s vinegar.  In this sense, word after word has already been dedicated to the properties that characterize it and make it very useful even outside the purely gastronomic field.

Being a natural antibacterial,  it supports us  in cleaning the home, with all respect for the environment. Thoroughly sanitize surfaces, especially steel in the kitchen and ceramic in the bathroom, precisely the ones that most need to be disinfected every day.

But it can also do a lot for our vegetation!

Let’s find out together how to use it.

Hydrangeas: with this ingredient, the flowering will be charming

Not everyone, but many, already use  vinegar in the garden. Its function as a natural repellent against parasites is, perhaps, the best known: with complete safety, in fact, for ourselves, for the environment and for the air we breathe, we can vaporize it where we notice insect pests without fearing any consequences, if not its almost immediate disappearance. Aphids and mealybugs will no longer appear and with their help, we will also eliminate the risk of mold formation that is dangerous for the well-being of plants.

In addition,  it is a soil acidifier, but be careful!  It is necessary to know how to dose it to obtain only benefits and avoid possible repercussions. Any abuse, in fact, is paid bitterly to the point of compromising the beauty of our orchids. Combine a single  tablespoon in 5 liters of water , stir to dilute it perfectly and place it on the crown, stem, trunk, leaves, branches, flowers and roots in a single pass from top to bottom. The next day we will notice a notable improvement in your appearance.

However, if it seems dull, like it’s tired, then the solution  is to implement iron . Doing this is very simple:  just bury some nails (or a key), preferably rusty, near the roots.  They will disperse the mineral into the soil little by little, properly nourishing your hydrangeas, which will become splendid again.

Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of nature!
