Moisturize and nourish your roots before transplanting them with these natural ingredients.
If you have just purchased a plant or have had it for a long time, it is likely that you will need to repot it : that is, move it to a more suitable size container to ensure that its roots can grow unhindered.
Potting can be a delicate moment for the plant itself, as it can suffer a shock. Therefore, you can proceed by hydrating the roots so that they absorb water and nutrients .
Let’s see how to do it correctly.
Necessary
- 2 small red onions
- Container
- Waterfall
- Bucket
- 2 pieces of aloe vera
Method
- First, remove the seedling from the original pot.
- Cut the onion into small pieces and place in a container with 600 ml of water.
- Also add the aloe vera, squeezing it with your fingers to extract the gel inside.
- Pour the solution into a bucket or basin and dilute it with 2 liters of water.
- Place the plant inside, making sure the roots are completely submerged.
- Leave it to act for an hour.
- Now transfer the plant to the new pot with the soil of your choice.
