Washing machine, forget about bleach: this ingredient beautifies clothes

We often use bleach in the washing machine. However, there is a more ecological ingredient. Let’s see which one.

There are natural alternatives to bleach in the washing machine that are economical and environmentally friendly.

These are the common mistakes people make when washing the washing machine in a hurry.

In reality, it is necessary to dispel a myth: washing the washing machine is one of the most difficult and delicate operations that exist. Washing clothes is an important operation, which must be carried out with  extreme calm and attention,  because not all clothes are the same. There are, for example, the most delicate ones, which require special detergents.

To do the  washing machine well  , the first rule is  not to put everything together  in the drum, unless you want to make a big mess. First of all, you have to divide the clothes by color.  White items should be treated one way  and colored items another.

It must have happened to you, at least once in your life, out of hurry or boredom, to put everything together at a  low temperature,  to avoid the worst. At first it seemed to have gone well, but the reality is different.

When washing different types of clothing, whether colored or fabrics, the first washes always turn out very well. However, little by little, over time,  conditions change  and you begin to notice dull color, ruined fabric, etc. At this point you no longer know how to act and  you buy hundreds of products  , which not only do not work, but are also used incorrectly.

This happens especially with white clothes, which turn yellowish, change color, or with colored clothes that lose their vitality and become opaque. Especially when you are faced with  yellowish white objects  , it is necessary to evaluate everything. That is why you must pay attention to temperatures, programs and detergents.

Preserves whiteness and eliminates stains.

In the case of stained or yellowed garments, the operation becomes even more difficult. The first solution that comes to mind is  bleach  . Anyone knows that bleach removes any stain, in reality it is better  to opt for natural ingredients,  which transport us to the past, but are truly functional.

Grandmothers once managed to obtain enviable results, without using who knows what  chemicals  . To remove stains from white, yellowish or dull clothing, it is best to avoid using bleach, because it is harmful. It should be used with caution, only when really necessary.

When using it, you must also know how to dose the appropriate amounts because you run the risk of obtaining results exactly opposite  to  those expected.

Natural alternatives to bleach, advice from grandmothers

There are many  alternatives to bleach,  which give even better results. Our grandmothers, for example, did not use a washing machine, many did not even have one. To  remove stains from discolored or yellowed clothing  , they did not use a washing machine or chemicals, but rather effort, a  basin full of water and a lot of white vinegar  .

Vinegar is a natural product capable of  neutralizing odors  and eliminating bacteria. In addition, it has a whitening power that few people are aware of. To remove stains from clothes with vinegar,  add 150 ml of white vinegar to a liter of water  .

At this point, let the clothes soak for an hour. If you need to treat scratches or stains of any kind, simply  add dish soap  and then wash with plenty of water. As for sheets, tablecloths, curtains, grandmothers used cold milk. This was a perfect remedy to  bring back the bright color  and regain the same softness as before.

Like using cold milk or removing wine stains.

Cold milk can be used to  remove stains from any clothing item  before starting the wash. For correct use, simply fill the container with milk from the refrigerator and  let the clothes soak for half an hour  . For stubborn stains, rub a cloth with lemon juice on the affected area and then put it in the washing machine at the appropriate temperature.

As for wine stains, these are very difficult to remove. Often not even bleach can do this. In this case, as absurd as it may seem,  just use sparkling water  .

So before you start washing in the washing machine, take the tablecloth, pour water on it and start scrubbing. The result will be excellent. These methods are long and time-consuming, but they are the only truly effective ones that allow you to keep the garments in excellent condition.
