The unpleasant scale in the toilet disappears with this incredible ingredient!”

The perfect ingredient for cleaning the house, also excellent against limescale. Here is the product you surely have at home.

Cleaning your home is never too easy if you don’t have the right products. The environment that undoubtedly requires the most attention in terms of hygiene and cleanliness is undoubtedly the bathroom. Witness and home to numerous accumulations of bacteria and dirt, it is also the place where limescale most easily forms.

Limescale in the toilet, but not only, where it deposits most easily and how to combat it.

In an imaginary domestic bathroom  the toilet undoubtedly occupies first place in terms of accumulation of bacteria and dirt  . The common perception is not at all wrong, since due to the way in which it is used and managed, the toilet acquires limescale and bacteria, which if not treated correctly over time can cause stains and streaks of an unpleasant brown colour.

If you have a glass shower, it’s probably in second place on the list of dirtiest places. The annoying drops of limescale that accumulate on both the glass and the tiles increase the perception of dirt and neglect, leaving rings and stains.

There are countless products on the market to remedy the problem, but they are often rich in chemicals that are not environmentally friendly. Furthermore, their smell, even with the addition of fragrances, is unfortunately often too strong and almost unpleasant.

What you probably don’t know is that the best ally for cleaning the bathroom is a product that you probably already have at home. The ideal ally is, in fact, white vinegar, which can be used in many different ways

Use vinegar to clean the bathroom

White vinegar lends itself to countless cleaning applications. For example, for dark stains in the toilet, just pour it generously directly onto the stain (or onto the floor if the problem is below the water level) and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes. The vinegar works by weakening the stain  so you can clean it by scrubbing it with a toothbrush or sponge. In addition to cleaning, vinegar is an excellent ally for disinfecting, so regular use of this method will also help prevent stains from reappearing.

The application for shower glass is very similar. In this case, it is recommended to prepare a mixture of 250 ml of water, 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. The ideal is to pour the mixture into a spray bottle, spray it on the shower glass and leave it to act for about 20 minutes. You can then proceed by rubbing with a sponge, rinsing with water and drying with a paper towel.

The same solution, but without bicarbonate, can also be used to clean the tiles  , both inside and outside the shower. For tiles, the doses are slightly different, as the ratio must be 2/3 vinegar and 1/3 water. Also in this case, the solution can be sprayed directly on the tiles, left to soak and then removed with a damp cloth, rubbing if there are stains or small mould.

Other uses of vinegar to clean the house

At home, white vinegar can be used for several purposes. One of these  is the cleaning of environments  : in the refrigerator it is sufficient to put two fingers of vinegar in a glass to eliminate bad smells, while at home it can be poured into more or less large containers to eliminate bad smells.

It is also useful for laundry, adding a few tablespoons of vinegar to the detergent softens the clothes  and degreases the most encrusted dirt. It is also a valid help for the maintenance and internal cleaning of the washing machine.
