There is nothing more annoying than sleepless nights due to the strange buzzing of mosquitoes . Not to mention the biting and tickling. Mosquitoes appear to multiply at night, then disappear during the day.
Strange as it may seem, the ancient belief that mosquitoes prefer sweet blood is partly true. It is the high carbon dioxide content that attracts mosquitoes, who are able to perceive changes, especially if you are doing physical activity.
Mosquitoes are also attracted to the smell of sweat, especially when high levels of lactic acid or ammonia are present.
