The trick to bring the orchid back to life
If you intervene in the world that follows, you will be able to remedy what will surely be an unpleasant and complicated , sometimes even dramatic, situation. Very few ingredients and tools, which we all have at home or which we can easily find in any store, are sufficient to bring the dead orchid back to life without too much effort or confusion.
What you need is ground cinnamon, a plastic bottle, a pair of scissors, a dish sponge, a used one is fine, a plastic bag, some bark, a water sprayer and a plant pot .
Here’s how and what to do to revive the plant in a few simple steps
The plant is removed from the pot, the dead parts are removed, i.e. the dry branches, petals, leaves, roots. For this purpose, sterilized scissors are used. Then you take the cinnamon powder and put it on top, to prevent the flower from getting mold or other diseases. </At this point the orchid is placed in a dry place for two days. It must be placed on a cotton cloth. Then we proceed with repotting, for which a plastic bottle is needed, the neck of which is cut, then some small holes are made in the bottom to allow excess water to drain.
A wet sponge is placed on the base, which must be sterilized and cleaned, even if it is used, then the orchid is placed on top and covered with a bag. This serves to create the greenhouse effect which allows the seedling to grow quickly in the heat and shelter from the elements. The bottle must be completely covered, the bag must remain still, so if you are afraid that it might move, you can fix the wire. All this helps to ensure that the orchid recovers after a maximum of one or two months and returns to being a plant full of life. Then remember that it must be exposed to the sun all year round, except in summer, otherwise it will die from too high temperatures. As soon as new roots appear, repot and you’re done.
