How to grow garlic in water for an endless supply

Garlic is one of the easiest plants to grow indoors. In fact, garlic seems to regenerate and multiply almost “magically” and this is precisely why today we explain how to grow garlic without soil in water .

How many times have we had old garlic that has already formed a new shoot? Follow the instructions below carefully to learn how to grow garlic in water .

Select the garlic cloves that have already started to sprout. Choose the healthiest segments and make sure they are not rotten or have other defects.

Place the garlic cloves in a jar or tin. The end with the sprout should point upwards.

Pour warm water into the jar until the garlic cloves are half covered. Be careful not to completely submerge the shoots, otherwise they will rot.

Place the pot inside a windowsill for 4-7 days. Make sure it gets sunlight.

Change the water if it becomes too dark. To do this, remove the garlic cloves with clean hands, empty the jar, put the cloves back in and add the new water.

Let the garlic shoots grow until they reach a height of about 7 cm or more. Garlic sprouts can be used for cooking or seasoning dishes.
