Having a dog at home is never easy, especially when he pees on the carpet. How can the stain be removed?
Dogs are man’s best friend. If you decide to get one at home, he is a great companion.
But dogs are very demanding animals because they need special attention and constant care, especially when it comes to a puppy .
Very often the child still cannot hold his pee and spreads it everywhere, especially on the carpet. If this happens to you, what can you do to get rid of the urine stain?
Dog pee on the carpet: a simple and effective way to remove it
If you have decided to adopt a puppy, know that the arrival of this animal in your home will take up precious time. You will have to train him and teach him many things. These include peeing outside the house or in the garden.
Of course, when he’s new to the house, it’s not unusual to see him pee everywhere like a baby. Unfortunately, if a child can say a few words, your dog can make you understand his actions only with his eyes or with his bark. And you have to pay attention to this aspect, otherwise you end up with a completely damp house .
However, if your puppy pees on the carpet, there is a method to remove the stain. In fact, pee on the carpet is much more difficult to remove due to the fabric, which absorbs it very quickly. What to do in this case? The choice can be between these two natural remedies : using water and vinegar or using bicarbonate.
As for the first solution, take absorbent paper to remove and dry the pee on the carpet. This is essential to prevent the stain from spreading and penetrating deep into the carpet fibers.
Then, fill a basin with water and vinegar and wet a microfiber cloth in it. Then pass the damp cloth over the stain and let it dry. You will see that the stain is gone, as are the bad smells.
As for the second method, it involves drying the pee stain with absorbent paper. Then sprinkle it with baking soda. This product eliminates bad odors and pee itself. Leave it to act for about 2 hours, then vacuum it and you’re done.
