How many times has it happened to you, among the many clothes that we keep in drawers or closets, a sweater that has lint. Maybe you avoid using it because of the excess lint and even using it is not that pleasant. This excess wool hair is found everywhere, from the eyes to the mouth. But you don’t want to dismiss it because it’s so beautiful! But then what can be done? We will try to answer this question and pass the test with tricks to try to eliminate them once and for all.

There are some totally natural solutions that allow us to remove lint from our sweaters. We would like to show you some ways to remove them permanently:

Blade. Take a clean razor blade and gently run it over the surface of the sweater. The blade acts as a gentle scraper and removes lint without damaging the fabric. This method requires a lot of care and finesse to avoid cutting the jersey fabric.

Hair cutter. Use a cordless or electric trimmer to remove lint from the sweater. Place the sweater on a flat surface and gently run the clipper over the surface of the sweater. This method is very effective, but requires extra care so as not to damage the sweater fabric.

Adhesive roller. Use a sticky roller to remove lint from the sweater. Roll the roller gently over the surface of the sweater and pick up any loose lint. This method is fast and effective.

Scotch tape. Take a piece of duct tape and wrap it around your hand, sticky side facing out. Gently rub the sweater with the tape to remove lint.

Lint comb. There are specific combs to remove lint from fabrics. Gently comb the surface of the sweater to remove lint.

fabric brush A soft-bristled fabric brush can be helpful for removing lint from sweaters. Gently brush the surface of the sweater to remove lint.

Aluminum sheet. Take some aluminum foil and roll it into a ball. Use the foil ball to gently pat the sweater to remove lint. The aluminum acts as a mild abrasive and removes lint without damaging the fabric.

Boric acid. A boric acid solution can be helpful in removing lint from sweaters. Mix two teaspoons of boric acid in a gallon of water and spray the solution on your sweater. Leave it for about an hour, then wash the sweater as usual. The solution helps reduce static electricity and eliminates lint.
