What do you need :

  • small batteries;
  • foil  _

How to proceed?

  • Cut the aluminum foil into two small pieces.
  • Turn each piece into a ball.
  • Insert small batteries.
  • Place each of the balls to fill the space between the battery and the spring, then close the battery compartment.

Method 2:

This second method also involves using aluminum foil to operate your remote control with smaller batteries. To do this, all you have to do is wrap them with aluminum foil, so that you get the right length, and then place them in place.

  • Why does aluminum foil work?

This trick works because   aluminum foil   is a conductor of electricity. Therefore, it allows current to flow between the remote control and the battery, without any problem. So, while you wait for the right batteries to arrive, this solution will temporarily solve your problem.

The other problem frequently encountered with a remote control is, of course, buttons that no longer work! A malfunction that is usually due to the accumulation of dirt and dust or a signal transmission problem. In such a situation, know that there is a trick that will fix this problem in just a few minutes. All you need is a small   piece of aluminum foil  , a kitchen towel, a screwdriver, a cotton swab, rubbing alcohol, and double-sided tape.

How to proceed?

Important   :   Before you start, take a photo of your remote control to remember where each button is.

  • Remove the batteries.
  • Remove the remote control: simply unscrew the screws and then take the keyboard out of the box. If your remote control does not have screws, simply force lightly, using a hard plastic blade if necessary, to separate the two parts of the remote control.
  • Wipe the inside surface with a clean cloth and then blow to remove any dust residue.
  • Clean the circuit board with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • Insert a small piece of aluminum foil behind the defective buttons and secure it with the tape.
  • Finally, reassemble all the parts by putting them in place and then test the remote control.
