How to Double Your Carrot Harvest

Mix the soil well and create a small raised bed. All you need is a pallet to place on top of the newly created mound. Make sure to press it down well on the pallet and then fill all the holes with the substrate.

If your carrots are exposed to a lot of sun, you may need to cover them with a tarp to protect them from sunburn. Make sure you harvest your carrots before they get too big , or they will become tough and stringy. Once harvested, carrots can be stored in the refrigerator or frozen for future use.
