Home remedy to clean broccoli

First of all, it must be said that the majority of insects could appear in  organic broccoli  . This, as is easy to imagine, is because vegetables of this type are not subject to the action of various pesticides: in fact, it is much more common to notice worms or other types of parasites in organic products.

Therefore, at the same time it would be necessary  to wash them carefully.  With the method that we will explain to you, you will be able to solve the problem in a few simple steps. First proceed  by cutting  the torso part and then dividing the broccoli in half. Try cutting lengthwise, possibly starting from the center of the plant. By doing this you will reduce everything to a series of many small broccoli.

Then, immerse everything in a bowl in which you have poured  three/four glasses of water and one of vinegar  . If you don’t have vinegar, proceed with a teaspoon of salt for every two liters of water. At this point, let it sit for about twenty minutes, then rinse everything with plenty of cold water. Carefully check that there are no other unwanted guests and that’s it! Now you can prepare them however you want: boiled and possibly sautéed in a pan, in batter or with pasta.
