How to clean hob burners in a few simple steps!

This tip is so helpful!

It is not surprising that the hob gets dirty very quickly. If you’re like most of us, you cook every day. And this means that splashes of oil, grease or food residue will definitely be all over the stove. It goes without saying that you should clean the stove every day, scrubbing it well. But every now and then, it’s time to clean it thoroughly and get into all the nooks and crannies that might be hiding germs and grime. Of course, you should do it the right way to ensure not only that you clean it properly, but also that you don’t damage your stovetop. In fact, a greasy stove can even be a fire hazard, so cleaning it well is an absolute must! Here’s how to do it!

Why you should clean your stove’s gas burners

A dirty hob can cause uneven heating and weaker flames and can even pose a fire hazard. A dirty environment can easily harbor germs, but there’s also a more practical reason why you should clean your stove’s gas burners regularly. Old grease on the burner can burn during cooking, giving off a bad smell. Not only that, but burned grease is also harder to clean. So the less you clean, the harder it will eventually become to clean.

Suggestions

Don’t use your fancy cooking vinegar to clean your stove’s gas burners. White (distilled) vinegar works well.
