Tea bag in the toilet, flush it every night before bed – the unthinkable happens

A tea bag can bring great satisfaction even when dedicated to the field of cleaning. As absurd as it may seem, it can give incredible results, with minimal effort and negligible expense.

At home everyone has  at least one tea bag  , so it may not even be necessary to go to the supermarket to try the method that we are going to explain to you.

All women in the world  dream of having a bathroom that is always clean  , sparkling, shiny and fragrant. Unfortunately, not all of them are successful, especially when it comes to  old toilets,  damaged by lime and the years, attempts are made after attempts, but they are all useless.

Tea bag, perfect substitute for aggressive detergents

A tea bag can come in handy  and be the best method that exists, surpassing the products indicated for bathroom hygiene, which often do not achieve their objective.

These cost a lot, are harmful to health and in many cases also corrode the  material of the toilets  , which sooner or later you will even be forced to change. You can buy all the products available in the supermarket, but they are all the same, their action fails to obtain the promised result.

How to use tea bags in the bathroom.

Whoever wants to have a  perfect, clean, scented, shiny and like-new bathroom  just has to wash it carefully, as is done every day, nothing more and nothing less, and then  throw a tea bag into the toilet  . It is advisable to leave it on overnight to obtain maximum results.

Once the night has passed,  you can open the toilet lid  , take the brush, run it along the top and side edges, flush the toilet and smell the clean smell. The  tea bag eliminates bad odors  . It is a remedy that comes from popular tradition,  which has been transmitted over the years by older generations  and which is now slowly coming back into fashion.

How to use tea alternatively

Alternatively, you can also infuse  2 tea bags  in 500 ml of hot water. You must let them act for at least 5 minutes.

Once the necessary time has passed,  pour the mixture into the toilet  and let it sit overnight again. The next day,  not only will the toilet be scented,  but the water will also be less chalky.

Other homemade home remedies

Tea bags  are not the only home remedy that allows you to have a clean, scented and sanitized bathroom. For example, citric acid is next, considered  the most environmentally friendly alternative to vinegar  . Dissolve 150 g of citric acid in 1 liter of water and then mix everything. Add half a teaspoon of essential oil (the fragrance is personal so you can choose freely, nothing changes), then pour  the mixture into a vaporizer and spray it into the toilet  . The final result will be impressive. The action of the compound is antibacterial, cleansing, the final fragrance will be summery, fresh.

At home, you can also make homemade tea bombs. You need 200 grams of  baking soda, 50 grams  of citric acid, 1/2 tablespoon of organic dish detergent and finally 10 drops of essential oil, again to your liking. Citric acid, baking soda and dish detergent are mixed together. The mixture should be similar to wet sand. Then add the  drops of essential oil   and pour the mixture into  silicone molds. Drying takes at least  4 hours, in some cases it may take a little longer.

When the bombs are dry, they can be removed from the mold and stored or used. To use them, simply flush them down the toilet. What will be triggered will be a  “sparkling” reaction  , which will eliminate dirt, limescale and bad odors.
