Therefore, no effort is required in an impossible search for unattainable products. All you need to do is equip yourself with  baking soda, white wine vinegar, and lemon. 

The procedure

After placing these ingredients near you, start following the next steps.  The first step  involves using  baking soda  : fill two teaspoons of this substance and  pour it  onto the surface of the cutting board. After completing this simple step we move on to the next phase.

The second step  is to cut the  lemon  into two separate parts and  rub it on the cutting board  previously sprinkled with baking soda. This is a fundamental step to sanitize our cutting board: it will eliminate the bacteria present on the surface. Eliminating bacteria  is of primary importance  since the food we cut on top and then eat could be contaminated.

After rubbing the lemon, sprinkle the cutting board again with more baking soda to strengthen the disinfecting effect.  Then pour in the white wine vinegar  . The vinegar will cause a chemical reaction visible to the naked eye that will multiply the disinfectant effect and remove stains from your cutting board. Then rinse with running water and you will notice  how much the situation has significantly improved. It will be like new.

Extra tip

An alternative to these products is the use of  hydrogen peroxide  . You will have to use it especially as a substitute for lemon, and the sanitizing effect will be accentuated even more. If you decide to use hydrogen peroxide, remember to rinse  the cutting board more carefully  and carefully.

These tips can also be applied  to wooden and glass cutting boards  , the effect will also be guaranteed on these materials. Soap and water alone will never be enough to restore shine and deep cleanliness to our kitchen utensils.
