No more yellow stains in the toilet: my grandmother’s infallible remedy!
The best remedy to remove yellow stains from your toilet is definitely one that involves the use of citric acid . To use this foolproof method you will have to pour about 150 g of acid into a jug containing 1 liter of water , mix well and obtain a uniform and homogeneous mixture. Then pour the mixture into the toilet and let it sit overnight . During these hours, the mixture will be able to perfectly soften all the lime deposits present in the toilet. Alternatively, to make this remedy even more effective, you can transfer the mixture to a spray container and spray it directly on the stains.
The next day, we recommend using a toilet brush to completely remove limescale and dirt. Thanks to this method, your toilet will be like new again.
Another infallible remedy
As we have already mentioned, citric acid is the ideal ingredient to perfectly remove scale from the toilet. In fact, this product has excellent descaling and stain removal capabilities . There are also other mixtures that you can make with this acid, for example, you can add 1 liter of water and a little flour . In this case, you will have to achieve a creamy consistency.
Proceed as follows: dissolve the acid in 1 liter of water, spray the solution into the toilet, flush the toilet and sprinkle a good handful of flour. Sprinkle the citric acid mixture over the flour again and you will have a kind of cream. At this point, scrub the area vigorously with the toilet brush and leave it on overnight. The next day, continue rubbing the yellow stains and flush the toilet. The toilet bowl will immediately shine again and look like new.
Adding flour is really effective! In fact, flour not only performs an abrasive function on lime stains, but is also capable of perfectly polishing your toilet . If you don’t have citric acid on hand, we recommend a viable alternative. You can use vinegar on the yellow halo and the result will still be amazing. In general, it is not recommended to use vinegar in drains, due to the impact it can have on the environment, therefore, we advise you to prefer citric acid as the main ingredient.
