Baking soda  is not only useful and indispensable for cleaning the interior of the house, but  it is also a winner on the balcony and terrace !

This product becomes an ecological and economical detergent, very effective thanks to its high cleaning power and the slightly abrasive particles that make it up. Although it is decisive in overcoming incrustations and stubborn stains, it can also be used on marble and wood:  it does not ruin them because it respects the surfaces.

Not only that, with a single ingredient we can polish every corner: railings, floors, balustrades, glass. Everything will shine!

Ready? Begin!

Baking soda to clean the entire balcony: here we explain how to use it!

Start with the  railings  and  balustrades:  this way, the dirt will fall to the floor and you will eliminate it with a single wash on the floor.

As they are the most exposed to the elements, they are of course also the most difficult to polish. Whether they are metal or marble, small changes, the method is identical in any case: just fill a container with hot water, add half a glass of baking soda, dip a soft sponge in it and use it to go over the surfaces.

On stubborn stains, apply a paste  that will be made with baking soda and water in a splash, until you get a kind of full-bodied cream (like cif to be clear). Spread it over the most stubborn areas, let it sit, rinse and dry with a soft cloth.

Now dedicate yourself to the  window panes : prepare  a mixture with the juice of 1 filtered lemon, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 500 ml of water.  Pour everything into a spray bottle, screw on the nozzle, shake carefully and spray directly on the windows, then dry with a cotton cloth.

If you are lucky enough to enjoy an  outdoor kitchen , the  tiles and furniture can be cleaned with baking soda . Sprinkle 1 tablespoon onto a slightly damp microfiber cloth and rub all over – with just one swipe everything will shine.

And we reach the  sidewalk.  Whatever the material, tiles, stoneware, terracotta, marble, ceramic or wood, with baking soda you can ensure a deep and effective cleaning in total respect for the surfaces. Simply dissolve a tablespoon in a bucket of hot water,  add a handful of Marseille soap flakes to ensure an intoxicating aroma,  mix well and proceed as usual with a cloth and a broom.

You’ll barely contain your enthusiastic WOW at the end of the job! Well done and soon done!
