Berlin apple pie

Dough for 28 springform pan:

375 g flour, 150 g fat, 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1 pack vanilla sugar, 1/2 pack baking powder.

Filling:

1 to 1 1/2 glasses of applesauce, a pinch of cinnamon and possibly a few raisins to taste.

Icing.

Prepare a shortcrust pastry. Roll out about 1/3 of the dough and cut it out with the edge of the springform pan. Lay out the larger amount of dough in the greased form and press down one edge. If necessary, thicken the applesauce with 2 tablespoons of starch flour and spread it over the dough. Cover with the dough covering.

You can also roll out the dough into strips and lay them out as a grid on the cake. Bake at medium heat for about 50 minutes. After cooling, cover with a powdered sugar glaze.
