The honeysuckle family identifies more than 200 species that are very different in terms of their ability to relate to habitats, and although there are native variants in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East, almost all of them are adaptable to the contexts of which they are part. of our climatic form.

It is a climbing plant, very robust and vigorous in its native state, which is capable of adapting to almost any type of support and can also be a good “aesthetic” agent since it can effectively revive a bare balcony.

The variants present on the Italian market can have several tendencies, that is, developing vines in quantity or acting as a real climber.

Honeysuckle is often used to develop or feed hedges and other very characteristic forms of vegetation, also because the flowers have an important pollen production  , the plant prefers well-drained soil and, when possible, constant exposure to the sun, even too much straight.

The young shoots of these plants are planted from September to May, and they prefer soil that is sufficiently draining but also capable of retaining nutrients. It is important to remember that the presence of sun greatly influences the growth and development of flowers.
