How do you remove oven door glass?
This button looks like a small hook. It can be found on both sides of the glass, in the area of the fastenings. The job of these two hooks is to hold the oven door securely in the oven frame. To remove the glass from the oven, you must open the oven door completely to access the two small hooks. Then you have to fold up these two small hooks by pulling them up. If you can’t do this with your fingers, you can also use a knife or a flathead screwdriver. The goal is to lever out the hooks. Raise the hooks completely and do this on both sides of the oven. Then carefully lift the oven door to 3/4 of the way without closing it completely. Now all you have to do is carefully pull the door towards you. Once you have removed the door, place it on a table. Be careful, the oven door is not easy to carry!
How do you clean oven door glass?
Now all you have to do is clean it to remove all the dirt stuck to it. Is the window really very dirty? Do not worry! There are three natural solutions to clean the oven door. – The duo of baking soda and white vinegar is always a safe bet to degrease the oven and its glass. You can add a little dishwashing liquid to enhance its effect. – Use baking soda crystals, soft soap and water to remove any greasy residue that has stuck to the window. Use them to make a cleaning paste that will pull away the dirt. Just follow the recipe for this powerful cleaner here. – Sodium percarbonate is also very effective for dissolving fat. You can easily make a grease-free cleaner yourself. You see, you don’t even need paint stripper to get a clean window! After cleaning the disc, all you have to do is put it back in place.
