bleach, my grandmother used to do that! Candid and immaculate!

Bleaching trousseau and linen without using chemicals is very simple and we will explain how to do it using absolutely natural products, just like our grandmothers did!

Just use what you probably have at home, follow these tips and you will see the result!

Yellowish kit: how to bleach it perfectly and without fading

Of course, we are referring to fabrics that are already clean, that time has turned yellow.

Apple cider vinegar.

The acids it contains are really effective in counteracting the yellowish halos that stain white fabrics. It is also an excellent ally to enhance the effect of the detergent itself, as well as being antibacterial .

It is not aggressive at all and also works as a degreaser and softener .

Simply fill a container with hot water and add 1 full glass of vinegar, or set it up like this: 130 ml of vinegar per 1 liter of water.

Soak the fabrics to be bleached in it and let them soak for a couple of hours or more.

You can also do this step at night and leave it overnight.

After soaking, wash at a temperature of at least 40° and then hang to dry outdoors.

Baking soda.

In addition to being an excellent bleach for fabrics that have yellowed over time, it is also effective for yellowing stains caused by deodorant on clothing.

If used, saturated is also a natural disinfectant as well as antibacterial and, if used in the appropriate tray along with detergent (liquid), one tablespoon is enough, it improves its cleaning ability.

Use it to pretreat by combining a tablespoon (or a couple full tablespoons) of baking soda and 1 liter of hot water in a bowl. Soak the fabrics in them and let them soak for at least one to two hours.

Next, put it in the washing machine, starting a wash at at least 40°.

If there are more noticeable stains, create a mixture by pouring the warm water into a container, even a glass, and adding baking soda until you have a thick mixture .

Rub it well on the stains and then put them in the washing machine.

Lemon.

Among the properties of lemon there is also that which sees it as an excellent whitening as well as illuminating.

Widely used in cosmetics, it is also effective on fabrics , eliminating halos and stains and leaving a very pleasant aroma.

You will need the juice in the pre-treatment phase, so juice about 6 lemons and pour them into a bowl. The juice should be enough so that the entire fabric is wet.

Before submerging the fabric to be bleached in the sink, rub half a lemon over it, stopping at the darkest areas.

Once this is done, let it soak in the previously squeezed juice for at least half an hour. The objective is to allow the acids contained in the citrus to penetrate the tissue.

Once the time has elapsed, put the fabrics in the washing machine and start a cycle at at least 40°. If possible, air dry outside.

If you have more things to whiten, mix the lemon with the water. The proportion to take into account is the juice of 2-3 lemons per 1 liter of water.

Yellowing trousseau, the secret is not the bleach, my grandmother used to do that! Candid and immaculate!
