breathing in a good, fresh and clean smell is one of the pleasures of life. But it’s not always like this. Stored garments often smell unopened , due to residual moisture between the fibers if they are removed when they are not all dry.

We always pay attention to this detail before putting them in the closet, but if the damage has already been done, we can make one or several DIY products to deodorize clothes and small spaces.

Curious about how to proceed?

Begin!

Perfuming clothes in drawers with DIY deodorant: all the steps

To scent the bedding in the drawers we have more options available, let’s see them in detail.

Deodorant for clothes.

Preparing this deodorant is really simple, everything we need is very easy to find.

Let’s get ready:

25 drops essential oil (of your choice, although lavender and lemon are among the most persistent)

500 ml of distilled water

2 tablespoons baking soda

Pour the water into a jug and add the baking soda; We stir to dissolve it and add our favorite essence. Pour the mixture into a clean spray bottle and spray it directly onto the fabrics without overdoing it so as not to wet them. Leave the drawer open to allow residual droplets to evaporate and enjoy the fresh scent of cleanliness.

Scented paper sheets and similar to flavor linen

In this case, a simple sheet of paper, cardboard or paper towel will suffice . Fold it up to thicken it as much as possible, then let a few drops of essential oil slide into it. Place it in a bag (the one with the letters is also good) and put it between your clothes, in a very short time an intoxicating smell will spread.

Can’t find the material that can be soaked perfectly? You can use cotton or makeup remover pads, following the same procedure. The result will convince you!

Or again, pour a few drops of essence on a cork, it will be incredibly effective in scenting small rooms.

scented chalks

However, if you are particularly creative and want to spend a good half hour playing with the help, perhaps, of the little ones in the house, prepare scented drawer chalk.

All you need is:

2 plaster cups for casts

1 cup of water

food coloring, or watercolors (or nothing, if you want them white)

mug

wooden ladle

Silicone molds (ice molds are perfect too)

25 drops of essential oil

Put water and chalk in a bowl, immediately stir quickly to dissolve all the powder, then add the dye if you like and the essence, stirring constantly to avoid hardening the mixture prematurely. When the consistency is still workable, transfer it to the molds and remove any air bubbles with a toothpick. Let your work dry completely before removing it from the mold and placing it on the dresser.

Easy and fun, this creation will make even the little ones happy!

Punjabi Aloo Paratha | Indian Stuffed Potato Bread | How to Make Stuffed Potato
