{"id":448,"date":"2023-12-05T13:22:13","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T13:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nanasadvice.com\/?p=448"},"modified":"2023-12-05T13:22:13","modified_gmt":"2023-12-05T13:22:13","slug":"make-your-own-paving-stones-for-the-garden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nanasadvice.com\/?p=448","title":{"rendered":"Make your own paving stones for the garden"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s how to make your own paving stones to make a garden path or Japanese concrete steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You will need:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Fine concrete<br>&#8211; Cardboard tube<br>&#8211; Rubber doormat with an imitation wrought iron pattern<br>&#8211; a wooden board or cardboard<br>&#8211; A saw<br>&#8211; A ruler<br>&#8211; Oil<br>&#8211; A paintbrush<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Realization :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the saw, cut the cardboard tube into rings 5 \u200b\u200bcm high.&nbsp;Cut the doormat so that it fits inside the cardboard ring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oil the wooden board or cardboard as well as the inside of the rings.&nbsp;Place the rings on the board (or cardboard).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix the concrete with water to make a thick paste.&nbsp;Fill the cardboard molds, shake to release the concrete and remove the excess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oil the piece of rubber doormat, place it on the concrete-filled mold and press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leave to dry for 48 hours.&nbsp;Carefully remove the piece of rubber doormat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carefully remove the cardboard rings.&nbsp;These rings can be used to make other garden slabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now your garden is ready to be decorated!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s how to make your own paving stones to make a garden path or Japanese concrete steps.
