{"id":4304,"date":"2024-02-22T12:20:06","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T12:20:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nanasadvice.com\/?p=4304"},"modified":"2024-02-22T12:20:07","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T12:20:07","slug":"paris-brest-the-recipe-for-the-tasty-french-dessert-that-you-will-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nanasadvice.com\/?p=4304","title":{"rendered":"Paris-Brest: the recipe for the tasty French dessert that you will love!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients :<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For the vanilla cream:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 eggs (size M)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon vanilla sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 pinch of salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gesundmutter.com\/get-away-from-your-mouth-flash-yoghurt-cake-without-flour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vanilla bean<\/a>&nbsp;, its marrow<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 tsp orange paste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>150 g of sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>70 g of starch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>500 ml vanilla milk (I had oat milk)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>160 g of soft&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gesundmutter.com\/fantastic-buttermilk-cake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">butter<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For 2 choux pastry rings, each 20 cm in diameter:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>100 ml of water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 ml vanilla milk (or milk)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 pinch&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gesundmutter.com\/rosenkohl-auflauf-in-nur-20-minuten-fertig\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">salt<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons of sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>80 g of softened butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>120 g&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gesundmutter.com\/zergeht-im-mund-blitz-joghurtkuchen-ohne-mehl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">of flour<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 eggs (size M), beaten (leave about 1 for the<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A handful of flaked almonds for covering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A little icing sugar for dusting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation :<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prepare the vanilla cream:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix the two eggs with the vanilla sugar, sugar, vanilla extract, orange paste and salt in a saucepan until well combined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the starch and mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gradually add the cold milk and mix until smooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this point, let everything boil, stirring constantly, until it forms a pudding.&nbsp;Pour the pudding into a bowl and cover with cling film to prevent a skin from forming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leave to cool completely at room temperature (you can prepare the day before).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the pudding has reached room temperature, the hot butter can be gradually incorporated in small chunks with the whisk of the mixer until a smooth buttercream with peaks forms.&nbsp;Don&#8217;t over mix!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, cream the soft butter first and gradually add the custard.&nbsp;Again, don&#8217;t over mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The buttercream can be left to cool for an hour before pouring, this way it keeps its shape even better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This cream can also be used as a wonderful cake filling!&nbsp;It is also called \u201cGerman butter cream\u201d!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients : For the vanilla cream: For 2 choux pastry rings, each 20 cm in diameter: Preparation : Prepare the vanilla cream: Mix the two eggs with the vanilla sugar, sugar, vanilla extract, orange paste and salt in a saucepan until well combined.
