TO CLEAN THE CORNERS AND RAILS OF THE SHOWER

When we dedicate ourselves to cleaning the shower cabin , we usually pay little attention to areas such as corners and seal tracks.

Although, in fact, they are more hidden places, in reality it is precisely here that dirt and mold accumulate the most due to continuous contact with water.

For this reason, today we will see together how to clean the corners and tracks of the shower and make them clean as never before!

Bicarbonate

The first remedy we propose consists of using bicarbonate, which is an ingredient known for its cleaning, stain-removing, degreasing and whitening properties. Furthermore, it boasts a light abrasive action capable of cleaning even the most delicate surfaces.

All you have to do, therefore, is mix 4 glasses of water and a glass of bicarbonate in a bowl until you obtain a sort of mixture with a creamy consistency.

Then, spread it on an old toothbrush and scrub vigorously in the corners of the shower and along the rails. At this point, let it act for about 20 minutes before rinsing and repeating the operation if you still notice residues: the dirt in the corners and shower rails will just be a bad memory!

Vinegar

As an alternative to bicarbonate, you can also use vinegar, which boasts anti-limescale properties that also make it effective for removing yellow encrustations from bathroom fixtures!

All you need to do is mix half the amount of vinegar and half the amount of water in a spray bottle and shake it vigorously to mix the ingredients well. Then, spray the mixture in the corners of the shower and along the tracks, let it act for a while and rub with a soft sponge to remove the “black”. Finally, rinse and you’re done!

NB We remind you not to use vinegar, citric acid and lemon on marble or natural stone tiles because you could corrode them.

Citric acid

An ingredient similar to vinegar, but more ecological is citric acid , which is considered a natural descaler! In fact, we remind you that it is used to thoroughly clean the washing machine!

In a bucket containing 1 liter of water, mix 1 50 grams of citric acid , then take an old body sponge that you no longer use, cut it into small pieces and immerse it in the mixture of citric acid and water. At this point, place the pieces of sponge along the tracks and in the corners of the shower and leave to act for a few hours.

Oh I forgot! If you like these Natural Tips I can send them to you every day directly on WHATSAPP! Subscribe to my channel! I am waiting for you!

Finally, rub to remove dirt , then rinse and dry thoroughly: the corners and rails of your shower will be clean again in the blink of an eye !

Lemon

After vinegar, bicarbonate and citric acid, how could the well-known lemon, the citrus fruit with an intoxicating scent and whitening properties capable of giving the laundry its initial whiteness without resorting to bleach, be missing from the list? To use, therefore, pour half a glass of lemon juice and 4 tablespoons of bicarbonate and mix everything until you obtain a pasty mixture.

Then, apply it to the corners and tracks of the shower and use an old toothbrush or a non-abrasive sponge to scrub thoroughly. Finally, rinse.

Wadding trick

Now let’s discover two tricks that will help you quickly remove the black in the shower tracks and corners. The first is the wadding trick, which is very simple to try , as you will only need:

400 ml of aqua

2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide

1 tablespoon fine salt

2 tablespoons of baking soda

wadding to taste

Start by dissolving the bicarbonate and salt in the water in a saucepan and bring everything to the boil. Then, also add the hydrogen peroxide, turn off the heat and once the mixture has cooled down, immerse the cotton balls or cotton discs inside and, without wringing them, place them along the tracks or in the corners of the shower cubicle , making them adhere well .

Finally, leave to act for about an hour , then remove them and rinse everything: the mold will just be a bad memory! And in this regard, here is a video for you to see how to do it!

Toilet paper trick

A final trick is that of toilet paper , which involves:

1 bottle of 10-volume hydrogen peroxide (the common one for domestic use)

Double-ply toilet paper (otherwise it will crumble immediately)

Then cut 3 strips of toilet paper of a length equal to that of the rails, then overlap them, roll them up, arrange them in the shower rails or in the corners and pour hydrogen peroxide liberally over all the toilet paper.

At this point, make sure that the paper adheres well to the corners and tracks and leave it on for at least a couple of hours . Finally, remove it and… the dirt will just be a bad memory!

When we
