{"id":1057,"date":"2023-12-26T19:48:03","date_gmt":"2023-12-26T19:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nanasadvice.com\/?p=1057"},"modified":"2023-12-26T19:48:03","modified_gmt":"2023-12-26T19:48:03","slug":"how-to-grow-an-endless-supply-of-onions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nanasadvice.com\/?p=1057","title":{"rendered":"How to Grow an Endless Supply of Onions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>It would be really cool if every time you need fresh onion for your recipe or for a meal, you just go to your window and pick some up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sure, you can find them in every supermarket, but you may never have enough information about where they come from.&nbsp;I know I&#8217;d be happy to grow them year-round outdoors if I could, but that&#8217;s not an option for me who lives up north.&nbsp;You may be lucky enough to live in a climate that allows you to grow year-round, but there may be room.&nbsp;Well, I found a solution for everyone!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This is what you need<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 5 L plastic bottle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pair of tijeras<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>onion bulbs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the earth<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Water<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start by cutting the neck of the plastic bottle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make some holes with scissors.&nbsp;The holes should be large enough for the onions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, make sure the onion bulbs are placed through the holes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Layer the soil and the bulbs, adding them until the bottle is full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can put the neck back (just tape it) or leave it like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Water the soil and place the bottle on the windowsill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In no time, the onions will grow, you can watch them grow and then flavor your dishes with them.&nbsp;Enjoy!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It would be really cool if every time you need fresh onion for your recipe or for a meal, you just go to your window and pick some up!
